Our Instructors have spent many years devoted to training in the art of Karate and other martial arts and have attained a certain level of expertise to qualify them as teachers and also mentors.

Through extensive testing, certification and tournament level competition, our staff has attained mastery in this martial art and now enjoy sharing their skill and passing it on to their students. Here are a few of GRACEWORLD KARATE ARTS's instructors and other staff members, starting with Sensei Brian Smith:

In 1994 after earning his black belt, he joined The National Association of Professional Martial Artist. (NAPMA)

1st Black Belt - April 30, 1994 in Shotokan.
2nd Black Belt - May 25, 1996 in American Budo
3rd Black Belt  May 20, 2000 in American Shotokan

The U.S.A. Martial Arts Hall of Fame awarded him for Shotokan instructor of the year 2004 on March 5.

Along with NAPMA in 2005 we have also joined up with MAIA (Martial Arts Industry Association)

Sensei Rachel started training in 1991, and earned her first black belt Nov. 5 1994.
She was awarded the southern league of martial arts competitor of the year 1991 an 1992 in womens under black belt division. She also has taken part in numerous martial arts business seminars throughout her career.

She earned her second degree black belt in American Shotokan April 16, 2002.
Today she heads up the Little Dragons program, and is the office administrator at Graceworld Karate Arts.
